Media Profile with friends, family and associates, you may have noticed, the URL is wicked long.
Visit http://gplus.to/ and
make a short URL Name
(gplus.to/username).
Your email signatures can
then look like this:

Try it out! Even if you don’t publicize it, claim your name.
